Philosophy and Innovation: METAZENE® Technology

What sets Home Detox apart is METAZENE®, a European technology based on natural components. It does not mask odors — it neutralizes them at the molecular level, removing the cause rather than covering it.

METAZENE® works by binding odor molecules: positively charged METAZENE® molecules surround the negatively charged sites of odor molecules, cluster around them and change their electron configuration. The unpleasant odor is significantly reduced and often disappears entirely.

Ordinary air fresheners simply cover one smell with another. METAZENE® removes unpleasant odors completely, leaving the air genuinely clean.

Every Home Detox product is made on a natural plant base, with no alcohol and no petroleum derivatives. That makes them safe for daily use in any room, including nurseries, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. The brand also avoids parabens, sulfates and other harmful components, keeping the whole family safe.

Range and Formats

The collection consists of four core fragrances, each created for a particular room and a particular job, and each available in several formats.

The Core Fragrances

“Fresh Detox” — a woody-herbal fragrance made for the bathroom. Spring hyacinth moves smoothly into the spicy, balsamic tones of clove, gum resin and eucalyptus. Honeyed cedar and smoky vetiver fill the space with warmth and freshness.

“Fruity Detox” — a sweet, berried fragrance for the kitchen. A rich raspberry and plum note moves into jasmine and the honeyed sweetness of coconut, cinnamon and rose. A woody, animalic trail wraps the room in warmth and turns the kitchen into the coziest spot in the house.

“Sweet and Sour Detox” — a fresh fruity-floral mix for the living room. Juicy green apple, refined jasmine in watery tones and a sweet trail of tropical vanilla make the space feel bright and welcoming.

“Powder Detox” — a soft floral-powdery fragrance for a nursery or a room shared with pets. Tropical coconut with touches of magnolia, jasmine and rose, finished with velvety powdery accents, creates a sense of warmth and care. It is safe around pets and makes time with them as pleasant as possible.

Available Formats

• Reed diffusers in 50 ml and 100 ml — they work for 4–6 weeks (50 ml) and 8–10 weeks (100 ml), covering 5–15 m² (50 ml) and 10–20 m² (100 ml). Every diffuser comes with pressed-fiber reeds, which have no scent of their own and carry the fragrance through undistorted.
• Sprays — they refresh the air in any room instantly and are ideal for clearing an odor fast. The Home Detox odor-neutralizing spray is alcohol-free, water-based and safe for people and the environment.
• Soy wax scented candles — they create a warm atmosphere and fill the room with pure fragrance. The candles are made of 100% biodegradable soy wax, which releases no harmful substances as it burns. Wax weight: 132 g. Burn time: 40 hours.

Care for the Environment

Home Detox shares the environmental philosophy of the BAGO family ecosystem. Production uses recyclable materials only: diffuser bottles and candle vessels are made of clear recyclable glass, and the packaging of recyclable cardboard. The company works to keep its carbon footprint and the environmental impact of its manufacturing as low as possible, takes part in the “Save a Tree” initiative, and collects paper for recycling at both the office and the factory.
